Thorniewhats Bed and Breakfast and Pony Trekking Centre

Thorniewhats Farm, Canonbie

Located in the heart of the "debatable" lands, Thorniewhats Farm offers secluded, comfortable homely B&B.

We are also a pony trekking centre offering pony treks, riding lessons and pony care days. Please see our website for further details.

Always a warm welcome and a good night's sleep available.

Homemade cake and tea upon arrival settle you into our lovely home.

Easily accessible just off the A7, but are remote enough to be quiet and relaxing.

Local pubs offer good food, restaurants 5 minutes away.

Gretna Green, the great "Border City" of Carlisle ,the Solway Coast, the Scottish Borders and the Lake District National Park surround Thorniewhats Farm, along with miles and miles of forestry, wonderful villages and superb scenery.

Historic Langholm is a "must visit" place. Rich in history, this original little town comes alive on Common Riding day (last Friday in July). A wonderful sight as horse and man "claim" their boundaries from would be raiders. A tradition dating back hundreds of years which is still as strong in the hearts of the community as it was all those years ago.

For further information, please visit our website.

We look forward to your visit.
