Rich in Tradition
Langholm's traditions are represented throughout the year in various ways. The Langholm Common Riding takes place on the last Friday of July each year and continues the tradition of riding the marches. There is great activity in the town for the preceeding two weeks culminating in the celebrations on the streets of the town on the Friday and on the Castleholm, where amongst other events horse racing can be enjoyed.
