Langholm Walks are open 365 days a Year
A booklet of 14 Waymarked walks is available from many shops within the town and covers a wide area of Annandale and Eskdale. There are some stunning views to behold on top of the hills and the scenery is spectacular. Walks range in length from 3 to 10 miles but none is unduly strenuous and the walks are designed for enjoyment and pleasure rather than a physical challenge. They also take in interesting historical sights.Walks booklets are also available in the Langholm Initiative office situated in Ashley Bank House. Enjoy your walks and haste ye back to Langholm. Situated at Eskdalemuir a mere 16 miles from Langholm, Kagyu Samye Ling is the first and largest Tibetan Centre and Buddhist Monastery in the West.
